Ann Arbor, MI — DYNICS, a leader in industrial computing and cybersecurity solutions, is proud to announce the addition of Jerod Asbridge as Chief Technical Strategist, OT and Water Infrastructure. With more than 25 years of progressive experience in the public infrastructure sector, Jerod brings visionary leadership and a proven track record of bridging Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) to modernize utility operations and strengthen cybersecurity in critical environments.
In his new role, Jerod will focus on advancing DYNICS’ presence for OT and Water Infrastructures, leveraging his deep expertise in SCADA systems, process automation, and cybersecurity to help educate municipalities and other organizations on how to operate more securely and sustainably. His first-hand experience leading enterprise-grade solutions in public infrastructure makes him uniquely positioned to align DYNICS’ OT cybersecurity and industrial computing portfolio with the evolving demands of this essential sector.
Most recently, Jerod served as Chief Technology Officer for the Genesee County Drain Commissioner Division of Water & Waste Services, where he spent over 23 years modernizing operations, optimizing IT and OT systems, and implementing cybersecurity strategies across multiple facilities. His leadership spanned critical areas such as utility billing and asset management systems, SCADA modernization, disaster recovery planning, and OT cybersecurity. As a member of the Michigan Cyber Partners, Jerod also worked closely with state-level cybersecurity initiatives, reinforcing the security posture of water and wastewater infrastructure statewide.
“Jerod’s blend of technical expertise, operational insight, and strategic vision makes him an invaluable addition to our leadership team,” said Ed Gatt, CEO of DYNICS. “His decades of experience in water and wastewater operations will help us deliver even greater value to municipalities and utilities, ensuring their infrastructure remains resilient, secure, and future-ready.”
